At its 55th session, the TAC set up a subgroup to review ECMWF's storage services. It appointed Mike Gray (UK) as convenor and agreed the following terms of reference:
- To liaise with Member States to establish their requirements for ECMWF storage services;
- To prepare a strategy, for future service provision;
- To formulate a set of recommendations for ECMWF storage services to be presented to the TAC.
