ECMWF has published the first four Copernicus Invitations to Tender (ITT).

They are as follows:

  • Solar radiation products (CAMS_72)
  • Global and regional a posteriori validation, including focus on the Arctic and Mediterranean areas (CAMS_84)
  • Sectoral Information System: Proof of concept (C3S_441)
  • Seasonal Forecasts (C3S_433)

These four ITTs are available on the ECMWF's procurement portal.

Suppliers will need to register on the portal to be able to access the ITT documents for these. Further Copernicus opportunities will be published over the next weeks.

Copernicus is the European Union’s flagship Earth-observation programme. The programme ensures operational monitoring of the atmosphere, oceans, and continental surfaces, and will provide reliable, validated information services for a range of environmental and security applications.

ECMWF will operate the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) and the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) on behalf of the European Commission until the end of 2020.
