Copernicus open for business

Copernicus is the European Union’s flagship Earth-observation programme. The programme ensures operational monitoring of the atmosphere, oceans, and continental surfaces, and will provide reliable, validated information services for a range of environmental and security applications.

ECMWF will operate the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) and the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) on behalf of the European Commission until the end of 2020.

ECMWF has now started its first phase of recruitment to build up the Copernicus team, and vacancies are available online.

In addition, ECMWF has published Prior Information Notices in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) for several Copernicus procurements. An Information Day is scheduled to take place in Brussels on the afternoon of Monday 2nd February 2015. Click here for further information.
